Spideydude Experience Mini-Episode: Erica Schultz Audio Interview!

In a crossover episode with Chris Denmead of the Sal Buscema Era Podcast‘s Radio of Horror Radio-Show, Zach and Chris had the pleasure of interviewing the writer of HALLOW’S EVE, the 5-issue mini-series starring Elizabeth Tyne aka Janine Godbe the girl who was romantically involved with Ben Reilly during Ben’s 5 lost years. Introduced in 1995’s Spider-Man: The Lost Years mini-series co-created by J. M. DeMatteis and John Romita Jr. we learned of the past that they both were tortured souls, and were running away from their respective pasts. After appearing in the follow up mini-series Spider-Man: Redemption, though she is mentioned in the alternative MC2 universe (Earth-982) as the mother of the hero Darkdevil, we hadn’t seen her since she turned herself in for the murder of her father at the end of the mini-series until she made her return during the first issue of Spider-Man: Beyond storyline.

Thanks to the events spinning out of Dark Web, we got this new mini-series were she has gained her powers as Hallow’s Eve!

In this Audio-Only episode we learn of some teases that tie-into the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1 later this year, Erica being nominated for an Eisner Award for her work on Moon Knight: Black, White and Blood #3, her writing style and more.

Hallow’s Eve 1-4 is available in comic shops, online via Comixology and the first issue is available if you have a Marvel Unlimited Subscription. Issue 5 will be released on July 26th. The TradePaper back will be available on October 24th. You can pre-order on Amazon here.
